The Angelus, followed by the Mass

The Angelus is a short prayer which is traditionally recited three times a day, morning, Noon and night. It focuses upon the Incarnation of God where we recall the Angel bringing the news to Mary that she would be the Mother of God, Mary's response that she would be the Lord's handmaid and the fact that God became flesh.
After the Angelus, the Mass begins. Normally the readings and propers of one of the Masses of the Holy House of Walsingham are used.
Each year we are delighted to have a visiting preacher at the Mass. Please see the home page for details about the preacher at our next Pilgrimage.
After the Mass, all are invited to return for lunch. The next Liturgy to take place is the Liturgy of Sprinkling.
