THE ANNUAL SPIRITUAL PILGRIMAGE TO THE
SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF WALSINGHAM

Last Visit

The Last Visit concludes the pilgrimage, just as the First Visit began it. All say together the words of Simeon to Mary, the Nunc Dimittis in which we acknowledge that we have seen the glory of God and are prepared to return home.

The prayer to Our Lady of Walsingham is then said and the final hymn is sung in which the pilgrims say "farewell" to Our Lady's Shrine.
